Coming up the weekend of February 22nd and 23rd, I will be part of the 13th Annual self-guided studio tour. This is an awesome event where Phoenix-area ceramic artists open up their homes and studios and provide demonstrations of their ceramic techniques. If you are in the Phoenix-area please take advantage of this wonderful weekend! Well, it has been a super long time since my last post...so here's an update.
I just recently finished teaching an upper level Ceramics class at Arizona State University. It was a terrific class and the semester cruised by. We focused on functional specificity.
Tuesday was my first day of class at Paradise Valley Community College. I am teaching Color Theory and Composition. It should be quite FUN!
Besides filling my hours defining my arm muscles while scraping shelves as a Studio Tech. at Mesa Arts Center- I start teaching there again next Friday. I will be teaching a Moldmaking/Slipcasting class and an Intermediate Wheelthrowing class.
Cheers to exciting new opportunites!
